Game Ready model I made for Bannerlord, the model is only 10k polys and uses 5 4k maps.
As a skyrim player this was a joy to create and I look forward to seeing these guys come to life within the bannerlord engine.
My process was to start in Zbrush and only create the main shapes and objects here, this enables much more freedom when texturing in substance painter, I did have to go back into zbrush for some details that just did not come out right in SP such as the trim around the neck and the shoulderpads. Otherwise I was able to work in SP no problem. The drawback of this is having to rebake the model each time.
I used Jared Chavez Eye textures for marmoset and with some hoodooarie within 3dsmax Arnold, got a pretty good result.
The gate in the background is a photoscan model I found on Quixel.
