My first Blender Project!
This is my low poly (15k) game ready model of Daemon Targaryen, made for bannerlord mod ADOD. As you can see with this being my first Blender project I went nuts with testing all the settings and lighting in different scenes. To my surprise the renders were much faster and very realistic using cycles vs what I have always used 3ds max Arnold. Blender is an amazingly powerful tool and in my opinion can reach high quality results as easily as its paid for competitors (at least for game characters). If you havent tried it yet, I recommend giving it a go.
The high poly was done in Zbrush, retopo in Blender, UV maps in Blender. Textures I photoscanned using substance sampler (yes I bought a spartan helmet with a crest to scan) lastly textures in Substance Painter and rendered in Blender adding the scene assets using Quixel (what an amazing site).
